Well it’s hard to believe that term three is almost at an end that is probably because it has been so busy! The term started with all of our students attending the Field Events Carnival at Modanville School rapidly followed by the Track Events at Riverview Park, everyone put in a great effort and enjoyed the days. Congratulations to Reuben and Laura who went on to compete in the Zone Carnival.
Our end of term concert and morning tea provided the perfect opportunity for children and parents to collect produce from our kitchen garden.
Term 2 always seems to pass quickly with an emphasis on sporting events such as the Cross Country and Athletic Carnivals as well as teams playing in the knockout comps for soccer and Rugby League.
The end of term two crept up quickly, as we were immersed in a plethora of special activities and happenings.
Welcome to another term. As well as our core business of literacy and numeracy, term 3 is all about the Performing Arts Festival and athletic carnivals.
We had an excellent Cross Country at Corndale School on Friday 9th May. Perfect weather for everyone to get outside and enjoy a picnic lunch while watching the races!
It has been a busy start to the term with the establishment of a new learning area in our old residence to accommodate the Infants class due to the removal of our demountable.
