Regular readers of this column will know what these astrological readings (taken from the language of the celestial bodies in the heavenly empyrean) have at the basis of them. And that is that it is time to grow and evolve. It has always been thus; that Humankind must grow and evolve on the Earth plane. Its purpose being to spiritualise the matter (body) we are in, and that vibration influencing the world around us incredibly more beneficially too. As Eliphas Levi said in his great 1898 publication TRANSCENDENTAL MAGIC (remember, magi is Latin for wise), “We have materialized spirit, and now we must spiritualise matter.”
Very recently an extraordinary book came my way: Entitled THE TEACHINGS OF OSIRIS, published by the Knights Templars of Aquarius, London 1958. Its like a Light Bomb, in that it has so much of the deep knowledge and information we need to bring salvation to ourselves and our planet. But for now, read this from page 66. “Today, the cancer of materialism has engulfed much of the Earth and its people, so that if the disregard of things spiritual continues unabated, a potential of disharmony will be accumulated, causing automatic reactions of destruction which will be of a terrible nature. Already the signs are looming heavily, and mankind lives in a state of complete disregard for truth, thinking only on selfish desires and motives. He must be brought to realise that the flesh is only a garment through which the spirit gives itself expression whilst on the Earth plane. The spirit must not allow itself to become dominated by selfish instincts and emotions, but must learn to stand up for, and if need be fight for, the ideals of truth and justice. If mankind fails to grasp the true reason for his being incarnate upon Earth, materialism will obliterate spiritual ethics entirely, and he will become a robot dominated by mass materialism which will smother his higher spiritual self and leave him wandering in a fog of illusion and material chaos.”
A chilling picture of where much of the world is now at. But not you. You understand that your greatest strength is within. By working to connect with and nurture that through meditation and being present to the quality of what you’re projecting into the world you will not only light your way (most magnificently) but will also light the way of others, and add to the light we need to heal our world with.
Astrology, properly practiced, is a key to the mysteries of life. (As it says in A Course in Miracles, “You did not create yourself.”) Throughout the ages, the great people of time either had astrological knowledge (Eg: Sir Isaac Newton) or a good astrologer (Eg: Strangely enough, Ronald Reagan from the extraordinary Joan Quigley; helping to end the Cold War). In this way, one can read and understand more of the cosmic mind and its workings. (As it says in the Bible, “I have set signs and symbols in the sky to light the way.”) And now, hopefully, the following astrological summary of August and September will help you more clearly tack your sails to the winds of success, as you co-create with the cosmic mind.
August opens with a total eclipse in Leo at 8.22pm Friday 1. Very much marking these months as a time when one should be working on the constructive and evolutionary vibe. As now we are in the situation, globally and individually, that more negativity will only keep begetting a lot more of the same. It is time to exercise and grow in the old gymnasium of life. Work positively with any adversities. If you do so properly, soon you will find that divine flow or magic synchronicity is able to increasingly happen.

ARIES: CAREER & LIFEPATH: Extraordinary progress is available here. With executive Saturn in your work realm and successful Jupiter presiding over your professional and life path sector August and September, you have the combination. Applying yourself to your goals and ambitions in a disciplined and consistent way will land them.
MONEY: Prosperity power healthy. Business and work activities can pay well, especially August. Partnerships, new ideas or position bring new money, especially October. You can think and communicate about money matters well, as well.
RELATIONSHIPS: You’re always somewhat amorous; as August will remind you. And others can find this attractive. However, exciting or annoying Mars influencing your relationship zone from August 20, right through September means project harmony, not hostility, to be successful. TAURUS: CAREER & LIFEPATH: Some kind of destiny hovers around these life areas through August and September. If what you’re doing is expressing the deeper you and the purposes for which you are incarnate upon Earth, then the cosmos itself can help you ascend higher. GEMINI: CAREER & LIFEPATH: No actual obstacles show up here. But what does show up is that all has to be well with home, family and inner self for professional life to proceed successfully. Also some issue, educational, long distance or spiritual weighs very significantly on your horizons. Huge breakthroughs are possible. Especially September.
MONEY: The Moon rules your moneybox. So two eclipses through August indicate you should be watching all closely so as to get constructive, not destructive, energy circulating here. Then you’re poised for September’s bounty. Real estate, career or cash pay outs deliver more dollars.
