Help

This site is the online home of the Dunoon and District Gazette. It contains all of the articles and reader contributions from the current issue as well as those as far back as the landmark 'Tornado Issue' from December 2007.

There are a number of ways to access the articles and these help pages will hopefully tell you all you need to know. If there's anything missing or you'd like something clarified then contact the the site administrator

Your front page

The front page holds link to, and short excerpts from, the lead story and a sequence of the most current articles. To read the rest of the story you can click on it's title or the 'read more' link at the bottom of each entry.

It also contains the same features that you'll find on every other page including

  • News, Sport and Weather links that are hopefully self-explanatory
  • You can find all of the contributions from our regulars in both the current issue and previous ones in the next menu

  • The Past Issues Menu will take you to each of the old issues that are currently on the site, we're planning to get more on as soon as we can.
  • In the Directories Menu are all of the phone numbers and contacts that you'll need, if you want to be included in any of them then get in touch
  • The Calendars Menu has a number of calendars with upcoming events in them, again get in touch if you want to be included in any of them
  • The Resources menu contains some helpful internet resources such as the Grafton radar from the BOM's site and Google Maps
  • Your main menu on the left will vary depending on whether you're logged in or not. At a minimum it'll allow you to easily find any article with Articles and Search functions and you can contact either the editor or the site administrator through the Contact Page
