Once again, a successful Masters Soccer Team entered into the spirit of Sixth in the City Games 2009!!!  Once again, we did not win a game - we didn’t even score this time but that in itself is making us realise that’s it’s NOT ABOUT WINNING (if we keep repeating this to ourselves, we might begin to believe it!!).  But a good time was had by all and NO INJURIES were incurred - except for Trish’s black eye - that she well deserved after going for a header that another player who was MUCH larger and MUCH meaner than her was going for too - I mean, what was she thinking... we all thought!! Poor Trish got a shiner for her gallant efforts. Thanks anyway Trish.  We all walked away with a smile on our face and that is what matters - oh, and by the way, in case you’re all wondering our team was the “youngest” team we’ve had so far with an average age of 42.4!!!!!  We’re getting YOUNGER not OLDER!!!!
